Curriculum Leader: Mrs Neal

At Kidgate Academy, we teach PSHE through The Story Project which allows children to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to manage their lives today, tomorrow and in the future discretely through stories. We recognise the integral role we play in our children’s lives and we feel passionate towards shaping well rounded children of our future. PSHE plays an integral role to our teaching practices and it is therefore embedded in all that we do to enable our children to become independent, responsible, healthy and confident members of society.

At Kidgate Academy, we help our children to understand who they are, we inspire them to have aspirations and we guide them to find their own uniqueness and celebrate their differences. We intend for our children to leave our school with the tools, skillset and knowledge to practise lifelong wellbeing in order for them to thrive in the next step of their journey through life.
