In today’s world, computers and technology are everywhere! At Kidgate Academy, we believe that learning about computing is not only fun but also important for your future. We want to help pupils become amazing at using technology, whether it’s solving tricky problems, writing their own code, or understanding how the digital world works.
At our school, pupils will opportunities to learn how to be a skilled programmer, create apps, websites, and even games! But that’s not all—we also want to help them become confident problem-solvers. That means thinking carefully, making smart choices, and finding creative solutions to challenges, whether it’s on a computer or in real life.
We also believe that it’s important to be a responsible digital citizen. This means using the internet safely and respectfully, understanding how to protect their own privacy, and treating others with kindness when online.
