At Kidgate Academy, we believe that with Science something incredible is waiting to be discovered.
We understand that a high quality science education provides foundations for understanding the world and we recognise the importance of science as a core subject in the national curriculum, ensuring it is afforded the time is it needed to be embedded within the children’s learning. Science plays an important part in everyone’s lives and is vital to the world’s future prosperity and our aim is to increase the children’s curiosity both during their time at Kidgate and in their lives beyond.
At Kidgate Academy, the children will learn about Biology, Physics and Chemistry in a wide variety of ways, continually building on their knowledge and we encourage the children to use science to explain what is happening in the world around them, make predictions based on their understanding and analyse data to provide conclusions.
